Gnat

Gnats motto  has always been " Don't wait till the Iron is hot to strike, make it hot by striking"

She makes a good job of living up to it, She has never met a sheep or cow she could not master some times she masters them a bit harsher than I would like.  Holding her back has been the job for me. She has good stamina able to put in a full day on the mountain. And pretty darn nice pace now that she is a bit older.

Gnat hails From Jim and Lola Chaffins Kennel in Vesper WI. She is out of The Fox sired by Jim's Ben. She came to me as a pup, growing up here at BYB.  I did not really start her till she was almost two. she really picked it up fast, she had some big shoes to fill and she seemed to know it. Gnat was shedding after the first month and driving  pretty good after the second. The next spring she qualified for nursery.  She now runs in open. I am training several of her sons.
Gnat was born 7/25/2006  ABC#293356

  1. Gnat seems to have a lot of time on her paws this winter as the young ones take all of her work. being just a pet is not her cup of broth.
